Neck and shoulder pain

As a wrestler my whole life and a crossfitter for over 10 years now, I have have some injuries in my time. I have been very fortunate enough though to have found some great therapists and chiropractors over the years as major and minor issues have occurred.
Most recently, I suffered an injury while coaching wrestling in which I took a hard fall to my left shoulder, which had previously been injured in December while snowboarding. At the time, the injury was minor enough for me to handle it with some rest and modified exercise, but after this recent fall, I had to seek professional help.
I ran into Liza at the gym one night after a class, mentioned what I had going on, and she immediately got me on her schedule for the next day. Without really knowing her very well just yet, I was unsure of what to expect during the upcoming session and treatment. In the past, with some PTs and Chiros, they will give a temporary fix but with 0 explanation, keeping you in the dark so you're forced to continue to revisit. I was so happy to see this wasn't the case.
Liza was extremely professional, very accurate with her detailed note taking and utilized precision measurements to assess the damage and track the improvement.
I saw Liza a few days after my all incident so I was still very limited in range of motion. Following the first session, I was tender and in the area but noticed marked improvement in range of motion and reduced pain. I woke up the next day feeling the best I had yet since the injury. I booked for a week later for our 2nd session where I was able to achieve almost full range of motion with little to no pain. The recovery pace I feel is off the charts! I'm looking forward to our 3rd session this week and already have my 4th on the books. I would highly recommend her services to anyone in need.

Chronic low back pain

I have been to chiropractors and physical therapists for the last several years for my back problems.  None of them gave me any satisfactory lasting results.  Julia not only helped me feel better, but showed me how to relieve my pain with some stretches whenever a stinger occurred; no matter where I was. I highly recommend her service. - L. G. Routsong

Shoulder pain

I was having some serious shoulder pain and knew it was probably from an old rotator cuff injury. I had two sessions with Liza. In the first session, the deep massage on that shoulder was wonderful, I was able to move more easily. She had a series of exercises after each session and they helped repair the shoulder and ease the pain. Even though the pain is gone, I still do the exercises a few times a week to hold back any future issues. Her explanations were clear and she respected my wishes. She acted in a professional manner at all times. I highly recommend her for physical therapy. - Linda

Marathon training

Liza and her care leading up to my bout in the California International Marathon were instrumental in helping me complete my first ever marathon. In the latter stages of the training cycle, I suffered injuries to my left hamstring and left hip. After a series of physical therapy appointments with Liza, I felt stronger, more confident, and happy with my decision to reach out. If dealing with injuries or physical uncertainties prior to any big race, I recommend contacting Liza! - Andrew

Postpartum

Liza is knowledgeable, effective, and compassionate. I have struggled with chronic neck and shoulder pain and then after my pregnancy and son’s birth I had hip and lower pain for months. Liza helped me target the areas that needed healing and I am now back to regular exercise due to Liza's excellence help. I highly recommend Liza to anyone experiencing chronic pain or anyone looking to return to excise postpartum. Liza also educated me on how to work with my body not against it and how to prepare my body for exercise! I can happily say that I am finally able to run pain free after working with Liza. Liza is more than a physical therapist. She is an educator and coach that helped me start feeling like my self again by giving me exercises to help minimize my pain and build back strength where I had imbalances. - Laura R.
