What can a physical therapist do for you? (injury not required)
- Movement and strength assssments that will reduce risk of injury and ensure your body has proper control when handling the demands of your workouts, sport activities, home life, etc.
- Rehabiliation for chronic and acute injuries to ensure safe return to prior level of activity and reduce risk of re-injury.
- Postpartum return to exercise assessments and core/pelvic floor re-training to improve motor control to combat incontinence, low back/pelvic pain, and/or functional biomechanics (lifting, carrying, squatting, etc.).
- Training plan development based on movement, strength, and motor control assessments for running, skiing, soccer, golf, rock climbing, and more! This can include race/game day preparation, cross-training routines, and manual therapy for recovery.
Initial Evaluations - $130
60 min - Required for ALL new patients
Initial Evaluations provide an opportunity for you and Liza to examine your current pain/injury and any pertinent components of your medical history. Manual and movement assessments will be conducted with the goal of determining the best next steps in care. This can include reducing inflammation/pain, improving mobility, and/or optimizing biomechanics during certain movements/exercises.
