Attuned Physical Therapy requires completion of the intake form to participate in the class. Intake forms only need to be filled out once. Payment will not be collected until the time of the class. $5 off for HerElevated members.

September Classes:

Injury Prevention – Neck Pain & Headaches

Wednesday 12-1pm

This class is designed for those with chronic neck pain and headaches. If you are not sure if that is you, please do not hesitate to contact Liza. In this class, you will learn ways to assess your movement, develop efficient muscle use throughout your upper body, and learn how to progress exercises safely. 

Injury Prevention – Chronic Hip Pain

Wednesdays 1:30-2:30pm

In this class, we will explore general concepts and exercises to help you identify your best course of action in addressing the pain. Since this is a general topic, please do not hesitate to reach out with any specific concerns. 

Pelvic Floor & Core

Fridays 2-3pm

This area is often overlooked unless you are postpartum, but all can benefit. In this class, you will learn breathing techniques, muscle activation techniques, and exercise development to assist with incontinence, low back pain, diastasis recti, and hip pain. 

 

October Classes:

Injury Prevention – From the Chest Up  

Wednesday 12-1pm

Whether you have a history of neck pain, headaches, shoulder pain, or mid-back pain, this class will help you explore different movement patterns that contribute to this pain. Of course we will explore various exercises to help you finally get the pain to go away.

Fitness for Healthy Aging

Wednesdays 1:30-2:30pm

It can be hard to know how or when to adjust fitness regimes as we age. In this class, we will explore and develop exercise plans that will focus on safely maintaining mobility, strength, and balance with each passing birthday.

Injury Prevention for Runners

Fridays 2-3pm

In this class, you will learn how to safely train, cross-train, and recover to promote continued running with each passing year. We will also explore common injuries and how to combat and prevent them.

 

 

Postpartum Classes at The Root

CLASS TIMES CHANGED!

Attuned Physical Therapy requires payment and completion of the intake forms to participate in the class. Intake forms only need to be filled out once. If you are a Root member, please indicate on your intake form for a $5 discount. 

Postpartum Rehab Beginner Class @ The Root

Mondays 330-430pm

This beginner class is designed to get your body healthfully back to normal after childbirth. It will include breathing techniques, pelvic floor/core exercises, and a review of body mechanics to assist with the return to increased physical activity and sports. MUST BE at least 6 WEEKS POSTPARTUM and cleared by MD to return to exercise. Please contact Liza with any questions regarding your health status to ensure classes are appropriate for you at this time. This class will be held at The Root, 3385 Lanatt St suite D, Sacramento, CA 95819.

Postpartum Rehab Advanced Class @ The Root

Mondays 430-530pm

Completion of the Postpartum Rehab Beginner Class is required prior to booking this class. The advanced class will involve higher level strengthening for core/pelvic stability, endurance, and injury prevention. This class will be held at The Root, 3385 Lanatt St suite D, Sacramento, CA 95819.
